My friend Julie was the one who took me to my first yoga class almost 3 years ago. Before that, my only experience with yoga was as a supplemental "stretch" to my more intense HIIT workouts. I had only done one 30 minute yoga video on repeat. If you've done P90X3 you know the one I'm talking about.


I continued to practice inconsistently at my local studio & at home, but I just didn't get yoga. I found it too slow, I couldn't keep still in the poses, and my mind would wander. I wanted to be strong. And I didn't think I could find that strength through yoga. Boy, was I wrong.

After I made the decision to quit my job and switch careers, I felt lost & worried that I had made the biggest mistake of my life. It was at this time that my yoga practice became the only consistent thing in my life. I didn't have the energy to do HIIT workouts, but I always found a reason to do yoga. My mind wandered less & less the more I found time to be on my mat. I found stillness while the rest of my life was chaos. My circumstances didn't change, but I was changing.


I found strength of heart & mind. I became hooked and have been doing yoga everyday since. I created this space so I can share everything I love about yoga with you. Thank you for sharing your time with me.
